10/10 Would Get Absolutely Drenched Again 🌧️

What was supposed to be an ordinary evening walk quickly turned into one of my favourite memories.
The rain started, and instead of looking for shelter, we looked at each other and basically agreed...
"Yeah... we're already here."
So we kept walking.
The only sensible thing we did all night was stop at a nearby doodhwala and buy plastic milk pouches to keep our phones dry.
Everything after that was wonderfully irrational.
We jumped through puddles.
Got splashed by passing cars.
Found two frogs that, as I was later informed, were definitely busy with something more important than avoiding the rain. 🐸😂
At one point my friend said something that stuck with me.
"Everyone should get soaked in the rain at least once."
At first, it sounds ridiculous.
When you're warm, dry and comfortable, getting drenched feels like something to avoid.
But once you're already soaked...
Something changes.
You stop worrying about your clothes.
You stop trying to avoid puddles.
You stop caring what people around you might think.
You just... enjoy it.
There's a strange sense of freedom in accepting that you're already wet.
The night eventually took us to Powai for hot lemon tea before we wandered back through streets glowing with reflections from traffic lights dancing across the wet roads.
By the time we got home, we were completely drenched.
Surprisingly, neither of us got sick.
Maybe we just got lucky.
Either way...
10/10.
Would absolutely get drenched again.
